1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PromptCut ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PromptCut is an online video processing platform that automatically detects and removes silences from videos. The Service includes a web-based editor, REST API access (Pro plan only), and optional audio enhancement features.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription Plans

• Free: 10 minutes/month, 50MB upload limit, no audio enhancement or API access.
• Starter ($9/mo): 600 minutes/month, 300MB upload limit, audio enhancement included.
• Pro ($29/mo): 3000 minutes/month, 2GB upload limit, REST API access, all features.

Minutes reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused minutes do not roll over.

5. Top-Up Credits

Users on paid plans may purchase additional processing minutes as top-up credits. These credits do not expire at the end of a billing cycle and are consumed after your monthly quota is exhausted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
• Share or resell your API key or account credentials.
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service beyond normal usage patterns.

7. Content & Privacy

Uploaded videos are processed on our servers and stored temporarily (up to 2 days) for download. Files are automatically deleted after the retention period. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your payment provider.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
